Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Today, my little lucky charm :) and I visited my friend, Leslie, and her son, Damon.  Damon just loved baby Alessa and she was soaking up all the love.  He is two and a half and will be a big brother this summer...and from what I saw today he will be the best big brother ever!  He was so excited to hold Alessa and to show her a picture of him from when he was a baby.  He even gave her an impromptu kiss!  It was so cute!

Baptism Celebration

On Sunday, March 6th, Alessa was baptised at Our Lady of Grace church in Edina. We were so lucky to have our whole family here in Minnesota to celebrate her special day. And we were very blessed to have our extended Minnesota "family" with us to celebrate as well. Alessa looked like a little angel in her white gown and she was SO good the entire day! It was certainly a day to remember!  We will post more pictures from the weekend with the family later.



Four generations!



2 months old!

CRAZY that our baby girl is 2 months old today!  Time is flying.  Just had her 2 month checkup on Friday and she weighed in at 9 lbs. 10 oz and is 23.5 inches long.  Getting so big!  She's still in the 25th percentile for weight and in the 90th for height.  She's our long and lean little girl!  Poor baby got 3 shots at her appointment, which left her a little fussy and out of whack for the last few days, but she seems to be feeling herself again.  And these days she's even more fun (if that is even possible!) as she is smiling and cooing all the time.  So freakin cute!  We're hoping to catch some of her babbling on video sometime really soon!

This weekend was low-key which was MUCH needed after the craziness of last weekend and yes, I know that I have to post/send family and baptism pictures from last weekend still.  Alessa had a daddy/daughter night with Sean on Friday while I went to a girlfriend's get together for a few hours and then today, Alessa and mommy went to lunch with my girlfriends from my MBA program and she was the perfect little angel.  She LOVES lunches with the girls (I think I've started a bad habit with her already). :)
